I first saw April's pictures on all my friends Facebook feeds and they were so adorable! I am very picky when it comes to photographers and want someone that makes me look my best. I also need a lot of direction when it comes to posing. I first booked April for pumpkin patch mini sessions. I was so nervous, but she was great to work with! My fiancé at the time and I felt so comfortable and she helped us pose and got the right angles that made us look our best! She has such a great eye for angles and captured the sun perfectly. I loved our pictures so much I booked her for our Christmas pictures, as well! We got so many compliments on our pictures. My fiancé and I were recently married and she is definitely going to be the person that captures our life together from now on! I'm so glad to have found a photographer for life! When I look at my pictures, I can remember and feel the emotions and fun behind the pictures. We met April in October of 2021 by asking a group online for a photographer. My husband and I were finally pregnant after 9 years of fertility issues and we were looking to do an intimate gender reveal. April was the only person to reach out to me personally and she wanted to know my story and my vision I was thinking. And I’m so happy we chose her! She took my vision and made this beautiful moment something we will always cherish for the rest of our lives! We loved her so much that she has done every photoshoot since the day our son was born. Our newborn photo shoot was hands down my absolute favorite and I’m so glad April walked us through her ideas! She was so patient with us and our son. She knew how to swaddle him and the best ways to hold him. She even let me do a nursing session that I’m so glad I have to look back on! She was perfect with getting every little detail just right. Our photos turned out absolutely beautiful! And so has every session since! I’m so glad we have her to capture all these memories that we never thought were possible!

I absolutely loved working with April. My first experience with her was when things began opening back up after Covid. I originally chose her because a friend of mine used her and I loved the pictures she had. I booked her for a Christmas shoot and was so happy with the final product. I booked her again for a back to school session and a maternity/family shoot. I have absolutely loved everything she has done and I get nothing but compliments on her work. For my maternity shoot, she let me use dresses from her client closet which made things less stressful for me. I was pleasantly surprised that she even went and created looks for my family and sent it to me with links to purchase the items. This made the whole process so much easier and took the stress off of me. The looks made our pictures beautiful and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out. My husband and I recently celebrated 20 years of marriage. We have only ever taken pictures in a studio and no pictures of just the two of us since our engagement and wedding. I had seen some really beautiful pictures from April's business page on Facebook as we know each other from junior/high school so I decided to reach out to her. She replied to my message quickly and we were on our way. From the scheduling to receiving our gallery and the prints we ordered, she made sure everything ran timely and smoothly. She sent us a pre-session questionnaire to get an idea of what we wanted and obviously plan how to capture it. She offered wardrobe advice if needed and even checked in before to make sure she could answer any questions we may have had. During our session, she made sure we had the right head tilt and gave pointers on how to step/walk for pictures to look most natural. My husband does not like taking pictures and he even had fun. I don't consider myself photogenic so figured it may be difficult to capture something worth me framing and putting on the wall. She though captured so many beautiful moments that I found it hard to even choose which ones to order prints of. Our kids even wanted a picture of us for themselves. April pays great attention to detail. What made the entire experience most special was that she took note and sent us our gallery on our anniversary morning and wished us a Happy Anniversary! So unexpected and perfect! We got to look at ALL our pictures together at lunch. I am very pleased and so happy with the process and photos she captured. We also booked her for our daughter's graduation photos.
